Since 1923, Gethsemane United Methodist Church hosted a Booya Celebration. The purpose of this festival is to reach out to the people of the community in fellowship and fun while raising money to help support our vision to make a difference and serve others.
This year’s festival will be on Sunday, September 15th from 11:30 am until the food is gone and the silent auction has ended (about 1:30 pm). Booya will be served and sold for take-out. We sell out quickly so come early. In addition to Booya, there will be other food items available, a silent auction, bake sale, cake walk and more. This is a great family event and of, course, the Booya is fantastic.
Join us for worship prior to the festival at 10:30 am.
Hope to see you there!
